Choc Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 125 g butter
  • 1/2 cup caster sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cup self-raising flour
  • 200 g choc chips

Method
 

  1. Beat butter, essence and sugars in a small bowl with electric mixer until smooth; add the egg and beat until combined.
  2. Stir in sifted flour and remaining ingredients, and roll rounded teaspoons of the mixture into balls.
  3. Place balls about 4 cm apart on greased oven trays; bake in a moderate oven for about 15 minutes or until browned. Cool on trays.
